Jeremy Buxton is an experienced media project manager, trainer and facilitator, who has over thirty years’ experience within the BBC and commercial sector.

Jeremy works as induction manager for the BBC, running the induction training programme for all new staff. He was previously a trainer within BBC News, where he rolled out many new projects including new satellite vehicles to television and radio.

Prior to this, he managed the activity for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games with partners at the LOCOG/BBC Live Sites across the North, ensuring staff training, broadcast resilience, marketing, community engagement, crowd safety and brand management within fluid timescales. 

He project-managed the creation of new versions of the BBC Marketing Engagement websites on the new corporate framework, including the creation of a new web presence for the London 2012 Live Sites. With allocated budget of £15k and tight deadline, he achieved the new look and feel of the site, SEO, staff training, and site population on time and £4k under budget. 

Jeremy was responsible for the set up and monitoring of the worldwide NASA live webcast held at MediaCity of the Mars Curiosity landing in August 2012, ensuring that all technology and circuits were in place and operational within the tight deadlines. 

He also project managed the BBC Radio 5 Live Octoberfest 2012 in Sheffield, securing the venues and overseeing infrastructure, ticketing, Health & Safety for the three day event.He also works as a training facilitator across the wider BBC, including hosting Upfront which is the induction programme all new BBC employees have to attend. He hosts the two day course and ensures that new starters get the best out of their time with the corporation.

As a trained journalist and radio host, he is best placed to add value to the business through effective staff development and training.
